Fantasy

Four figures stand shoulder to shoulder in a loose line, their bodies rendered as flat planes of black, chartreuse, teal, and rust and stitched together with looping, restless outlines of white and orange. The linework moves faster than the poses do, giving the group a current of motion even as they stand still. Fantasy — an original oil on canvas by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco.
