Sagrado Corazon

The Virgin Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, looks out from beneath a cream veil and blue mantle, her hands folded over her sacred heart, rendered in flickering white and gold impasto at the center of the chest. Thick ropes of painted roses and greenery in red, white, and deep blue frame all four edges, turning the border itself into an ornamental wreath around the central figure.
