Mami Flores

Here the same idea explodes into full bloom: a dense, dome-shaped bouquet fills most of the canvas, packed with curling ribbons of teal, coils of navy, pink rosettes, and streaks of orange and red, all set inside a dark green vase. Behind it, a wall of saturated yellow meets a band of deep red below, so the flowers seem lit by their own private daylight. Nothing here is outlined or careful — color is laid down thick and fast, stroke over stroke, until the bouquet reads more as sensation than still life.
