Sailing

Four sailboats cut across a band of deep teal-green water, their white triangular sails catching the light above hulls painted in bold, unmixed blue, green, red, and yellow. Behind them the canvas erupts into a turbulent wash of amber, ochre, and cobalt brushstrokes — layered horizontal sweeps that read like the last heat of a sunset scattering off the harbor. The effect is buoyant and immediate, as if the boats are gliding straight out of the color itself. Sailing — an original work of art by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco. Authenticity & Terms.
