Shipping policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Business days. “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. We do not ship, and our carriers do not deliver, on weekends or holidays.

Processing and dispatch. We process orders within 2 to 3 business days. Artwork normally ships within 10 to 14 business days after your order, because each work is inspected, documented and packed for its size, and Masterprints are printed and finished to order. Transit time is additional and depends on the carrier and the destination.

If we cannot ship on time. If we cannot ship your order within 14 business days after you place it, we will tell you by email before that time, and give you a revised shipping date. Our notice will state the new date, tell you that you may cancel your order for a prompt full refund, and tell you that if you do not reply we will treat the new date as accepted. You may then accept the new date or cancel your order for a full refund. If you do not reply, we will treat a first delay of 30 days or less as accepted. If we cannot give you a revised date, or if a further delay arises, we will ask for your consent again. If you do not give it, we will cancel the order and refund you in full. Refunds for cancelled orders are made to your original payment method within 7 business days.

Shipping charges. Shipping charges are shown at checkout or on your invoice. They are not refundable, except when an order is cancelled by us or because of a delay described above, or when a work arrives damaged or defective or we send the wrong work, in which case they are refunded with the rest of the order. We ship to street addresses only, and we may require an adult signature on delivery.

Insurance and risk of loss. Our shipments carry the carrier's standard coverage only, which usually does not cover the full value of an artwork. Full-value transit insurance is available on request before shipment, at your cost. Risk of loss passes to you when the work is handed to the carrier, but we stand behind every shipment. If a work is lost or damaged in transit, we will pursue the carrier's claim for you and repair, replace or refund as Section 21 of our Terms of Service describes.

On arrival. Inspect your work as soon as it arrives, keep all packaging, and tell us within 48 hours, with photographs, about any visible damage, and within 7 days about damage that was not visible when you unpacked the work. Late reports may not be accepted by the carrier or the insurer.

Gallery delivery and installation. In the areas where we offer it, delivery and installation by the gallery is complimentary, and it is scheduled for a day the gallery is open. See Section 21A of our Terms of Service.

International orders. We currently sell and ship only within the United States. If we agree in writing to a delivery outside the United States, you are the importer of record, and duties, import taxes, VAT and brokerage fees are your responsibility, and they are not included in our prices or shipping charges. See Section 29 of our Terms of Service.
