Angel Blessing the Girl

Loose white strokes fan out like wings and rays of light across a hot field of crimson, gold, and rose, where gestural figures in red robes gather beneath a winged form at the right whose feathered white plumage sweeps across the upper canvas, the whole composition dissolving into a band of deep green at the base as though the scene floats just above the earth.
