Boquet of Flowers!

A tall bouquet of snowy white blossoms with dots of red and black sits in a turquoise bowl with blue vertical stripes. Behind it, yellow, green and teal strokes are dragged across the canvas in loose, streaky bands. A dark blue line crosses the lower part as a table edge, and below it the colours reflect in vertical swirls of blue and green. A few curved stems in taupe and olive loop through the blooms. The petals shine like fresh light caught on water. Boquet of Flowers! — an original acrylic on canvas by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco.
