Girls Vida Karlota Sibelita

Three girls' faces surface from a storm of dripped and flung paint — one turned in profile at each edge, a third facing forward at center beneath a red ribbon knotted into her upswept hair. Their features are tender and specific: rosy cheeks, dark watchful eyes, soft pink mouths, rendered with far more restraint than the tangle of red, green, gold, and black lines that explode beneath their shoulders in loose Pollock-like skeins. The effect is a quiet trio held steady inside visual noise, their calm expressions anchoring the chaos of color below. Girls Vida Karlota Sibelita — an original work by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco.
