Love in paradise flower

Yellow stalks shoot upward through a thicket so dense the canvas offers no ground to stand on — red, cobalt, white, and hot pink splatter and streak between them in a tangle that never resolves into single blooms, only the sensation of a meadow caught mid-growth. Black flicks and threads of green cut through the gold like undergrowth, and the surface vibrates with complementary colors pushed hard against one another. It is maximalist and unruly, closer to the feeling of standing inside overgrowth than looking at it from outside. Love in paradise flower — an original work by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco.
