Bands of golden amber and deep blue streak down the upper half of the canvas like evening light breaking through cloud, giving way below to a churning teal-blue sea rendered in thick horizontal strokes and white-capped waves, where four slender red-orange figure-like forms stand atop separate gold-toned rafts strung along the waterline, their silhouettes loose and gestural against the darker water.
