Romeo and Juliet

A tightly packed group of bold, black-outlined figures presses together across a mottled yellow, pink, and turquoise ground, some bent low, one reclining across the foreground with an arm stretched outward. Faces are washed in cool green tones and expressions read as somber, the whole composition interlocking like a frieze.
