Gallery Veronica Ruiz de Velasco

Summertime

Two thick red hearts, one large and one small, loop across a ground of dripping orange and yellow streaks. Behind them, strokes of turquoise, magenta, lavender and pink cross in all directions, and thin blue lines trail across the surface. An orange drop-shape rises at upper right on a long vertical stem. The red outlines stand proud of the canvas in glossy ridges. A pair of hearts, one leaning into the other amid the running colour.
