Lovely purple color

A field of deep cobalt and ultramarine blue anchors the canvas, over which skeins of cadmium red, lemon yellow, spring green, and sky-blue paint have been thrown in dense, vertical drips. Near the upper third, a knot of scarlet pools into a rounded, blossom-like form, while thinner threads of violet and magenta cut diagonally through the tangle, catching light where they cross the brighter lines. The effect is kinetic and woven rather than brushed, with no single focal point — the eye travels the full sheet of color, drip by drip.
