Gallery Veronica Ruiz de Velasco

Peace

A heavily worked horizon line splits this canvas into two atmospheres: above, a warm haze of blush pink and buttery gold, dry-brushed and scumbled so the weave of the canvas shows through, with a single bloom of violet drifting off to the right like smoke; below, a dense, palette-knifed sea of teal, cobalt, and forest green, thick enough to catch real shadow. The artist's signature, in soft pink script, sits low in the blue field, anchoring the calm the title names. Peace — an original work by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco. Authenticity & Terms.
