Romeo and Juliet

A crowd of angular figures, rendered in thick black contour lines, bends and reaches through a canvas vibrating with confetti-like dabs of yellow, orange, pink, and turquoise. Bodies overlap and gesture toward one another — an arm extended here, a head bowed there — in poses caught mid-motion rather than posed for a scene. The energy is communal and unresolved, less a single narrative moment than a swirl of encounter and contact playing out across a field of pure, saturated light.
