Zoo

A maned, cat-like creature in red anchors the center of the canvas, built from loose outline and layered strokes of crimson and orange, with further animal forms sketched faintly in green beneath the surface. Voluptuous pink and magenta shapes cluster at the right edge while vertical drips of black, blue, and yellow fall the full height of the canvas like bars of rain, caging the scene from top to bottom. It reads as controlled chaos on raw white ground — loud, kinetic, the paint given room to run the way something living would. Zoo — an original by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco. Authenticity & Terms.
