A mother and child rise together from a shimmering field of green, their faces rendered in the same elongated, dark-eyed style and drawn close, her gloved hand resting at the child's shoulder as violet flowers rest in the child's dark hair; the mother's white top gives way to a blazing orange skirt below, while the child all but disappears into a cloud of lavender ruffles, the two figures merged into one unbroken silhouette of holding and being held.
