Darling

Red X marks scatter across a bare white ground like a constellation, framing a face rendered in warm ochre line with green eyes and a small, downturned mouth. The figure's hair coils into loose spirals at each side, and a triangle of pink collar anchors her against a wash of pale blue at the bottom edge.
