I Love Fruit

A golden pineapple rises at the center of a dense green tangle, its spiked crown dark against overlapping strokes of lime and forest, while a scarlet watermelon wedge marked with black seeds, a cluster of violet grapes, and a spill of ruby cherries crowd its base, with a pair of yellow bananas curving beside a deep indigo bowl at right and a loose scatter of small pink, white, and gold strokes along the bottom edge like flecks of confetti underfoot.
