Virgin Of Saint Lucia

A robed figure in soft lilac stands beneath a pale turquoise halo, her face rendered in smooth, quiet detail against a border of thickly impastoed white roses, pink blossoms, and cobalt greenery. She holds a slender green frond in one hand and a small gold cup in the other, the palette-knife texture building the flowers and drapery into a dense, tactile frame around her stillness.
