Every work in this collection is pure pastel, drawn by hand by Veronica Ruiz de Velasco. Where her oils are built up in rich layers, pastel leaves each stroke exactly where it lands — no blending, no second pass — so a face or a bouquet arrives whole, caught in one sitting. Alongside them sits the Frame series: small mixed-media works with paint tubes, brushes and sand pressed straight into the surface. Intimate in scale, made between Mexico City and Dallas, and once sold, gone.
